The unexpected success that Jurassic World has reached so far not only proves that audiences still love dinosaurs, but they love Chris Pratt as well. Ever since last year’s The Lego Movie, the actor has made a bigger name for himself while proving his talent expands beyond what we’re accustomed to seeing. I have not a doubt that Pratt delivered in Jurassic World, and when I see the film the only thing I’ll question is whether it was a good performance or a great.
As far as sequels go, Pratt is currently signed on for The Lego Movie Sequel (actual title) and Guardians of the Galaxy 2. When he revealed that he is also signed on for multiple sequels to Jurassic World, it really came as no surprise. When speaking with Entertainment Weekly, the actor revealed the news in typical Pratt humor we all love.
“I am. They have me for I think 38 movies or something.”
I expect a sequel to be announced relatively soon from Universal, which should be slated to release a few years down the road. Until then, Pratt will be busy under his Marvel contract, along with other announced projects. The actor is also currently filming The Magnificent Seven.
